Beautiful clear water, long golden beaches and secluded coves surrounded by golden cliffs. Old villages which retain their traditional way of life and sleepy daytime atmosphere with the excitement of a buzzing nightlife.
This describes the ALGARVE in a nutshell.
More than 150 kilometres of coastline divided into two parts:
- The Sotavento (above the wind), with all its long sandy beaches and dunes which extend from the Spanish border to Faro.
- The Barlavento (beneath the wind), characterised by romantic bays and tiny coves which extend from Faro to Cabo de São Vicente.
